Canarian winner Rafael in Austrian Open

There are plenty of talented golfers from the Canary Islands making their mark on the World stage, latest is Rafael Cabrera Bello from Gran Canaria. The 25 year old waltzed to the title in Vienna with a 60 shot display that put Northern Islands Darren Clarke in second place.
Rafael finished off with a 9 metre putt for an eagle at the final hole to win the 166,660 euro prize to guarantee his place on the PGA European tour for the next 2 years. It’s the best performance to date for the rising star and included 11 birdies. Here’s to the next major win.
