Binter Canarias Tournament takes off from Amarilla Golf

Golfers will be criss crossing the Canary Islands in style this summer with local airline Binter Canarias, who are sponsoring a major tournament for the second year running after a successful launch last year. The event takes off on Saturday July 5 at Amarilla Golf ,Tenerife, play for all the rounds will be over 18 holes using the stableford format.

Last year 600 players took part in the inter island summer of golf, and signs are good for this years tournament. The second round takes place on Saturday July 19 at Golf Costa Teguise in Lanzarote, then the action moves to Salinas de Antigua in Fuerteventura on Saturday July 26.

The final round of action takes place on Sunday August 3 at Maspalomas Golf in Gran Canaria. Players will be divided into different categories for the rounds, according to age and experience, so there should be some well matched contests going on out on the greens.
